SKYDIVING Project focuses on an innovative Ride’s Design Concept in order to involve theme parks visitors into a new 360° immersive experience.

Two main goals on the horizon: the creation of a Network to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of amusement parks local areas and the evolution towards a new sensory appeal based on the introduction of virtual technologies.

Skydiving guests are led through the cultural, natural and artistic heritage of one specific local area, thus creating an alternative to "pre-enjoy" the landscapes of a territory. In this way, the synergy between the amusement park (where the Attraction lies) and the tourist destination grows up by generating mutual positive externalities.

A VIRTUAL FLYING to feel free into the air and discover amazing sceneries at the same time! 

Thanks to the New Technologies, mediated and augmented reality the user can immerse himself into some parallel realistic environments which can be carefully pre-selected in collaboration with tourism authorities of a specific territory or by an individual private player.

Innovative devices like Samsung Gear combined with the mechanics of the Paragliding ride let live the “Flying Tour” at 360 degrees by discovering the peculiarities of theme parks’ local settings.

Three variants …. ONE UNIQUE PROJECT!

The project consists of three possible steps:

1. The "Base" Ride with the "SKYDIVING" based on the paragliding concept: riders sit on a 4-seats-cart and can manage their flight through the use of an interactive triangle-control frame.
2. The “Theming” of the setting, autonomously decided by the Theme Park or developed in agreement with Tourism Authorities of the local area.
3. The "360° View” through the provided Gear’s device and the augmented reality technology "synchronized" with the mechanics of the ride.
